Photo Organizing Extravaganza

Earlier this week I taught a class at the local library which was named, "Photo Organization Extravanza!" I had so much fun teaching this class. Many people came with great questions. I've heard from a few of the participants already, eager to get started on their "photo organizing journey", as one of them called it.

Getting your photos organized is a journey. It can be fun but it can also feel overwhelming when you are thinking about how far you have to go before it's "finished". We all know it's never actually finished because we continue to take more photos, nearly every single day! It's so important to focus on a goal for your photo-related projects and keep track of your progress so you can see how far you have come instead of how far you have to go. You can use this worksheet to help.

As promised, you can find the presentation slideshow below. Click the image to start the slideshow. Beneath that are links to posts about the individual components we covered in this class and on each of those posts you'll find the links to tips and tools for that component. Maybe it will help you as you begin your own photo organizing journey!
